Ketchup and Cola Chicken

List of Ingredients



• Chicken Pieces cut up
  
• 1 can of cola
  
• 1 cup of ketchup
  
• a little olive oil to brown the chicken in (optional)
  






Instructions



1. Brown the chicken in a little olive oil (this is optional) I use a big shallow frying pan
   
   
2. Combine Ketchup and cola and pour over chicken
   
   
3. Place on the stove on medium heat until it comes to a boil and then turn the stove down to simmer (so that the ketchup mixture continues to bubble just a bit.)
   
   
4. Cook like this for about an hour uncovered or until the sauce thickens.
   
   






Final Comments


Serve over rice if you like. My friend Cindy likes it best served over noodles.
