    Whole Wheat Cheeseless Pizza

    CARBOS AND VEGGIES; LEVEL ONE

    SERVES 4


    These individual pizzas are incredibly easy to prepare. Top with your favorite vegetables. You can even melt some fat-free mozzarella cheese on the veggies, if you like.

    List of Ingredients




    4 whole wheat pitas
    1 cup Simple Tomato, Basil, and Garlic Sauce
    1 medium tomato (thinly sliced)
    1/2 cup thinly sliced mushrooms
    1/2 medium onion (thinly sliced)
    12 artichoke hearts (fresh or packed in water not oil)

    Recipe





    Preheat the oven to 425°F. Place the pitas on a baking sheet. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pitas. Arrange the tomato slices over the sauce, then sprinkle on the mushrooms, onion, and artichoke hearts. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until bubbly.
