    Green Beans with Garlic Vinaigrette

    Have you noticed? I love the flavor of garlic. It’s also very good for you. This dish is delicious hot or cold, and the vinaigrette is also good on salads or other vegetables. PROTEINS/FATS AND VEGGIES; LEVEL ONE SERVES 4

    List of Ingredients

    Garlic Vinaigrette

    2 to 3 garlic cloves (pressed)
    Juice from 1 lemon
    Salt and freshly ground black pepper
    1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

    1 pound fresh green beans
    Garlic Vinaigrette

    Recipe



    Steam the beans until tender and still slightly crunchy; don’t overcook. Toss with vinaigrette and serve.



    Mix the garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. In a slow stream, whisk in the olive oil until combined.
