    PAULY THE CLOWN'S CHILI

This is an orignal recipe by "Pauly The Clown". This is a serving for 8 to 10 people.

    List of Ingredients

    • 2-table spoons of oil.
    • 3-large cloves of garlic (chopped fine).
    • 1-large red sweet onion (chopped).
    • 3 pounds lean ground chuck (coarsley ground) or a mix of 2 pounds lean ground chuck and 1 pound of lean pork (coarsley ground).
    • 32 ounces stewed tomatoes.
    • 5 table spoons of chili powder
    • 3 tea spoons of cumin
    • 1 tea spoon of cayenne
    • 1 1/2 tea spoons of black pepper
    • 1 table spoon of sugar

    Instructions

    1. In 2 table spoons of oil, saute chopped onions and garlic until transparent. Drain and set aside.
    2. Sear and brown meat in 2 table spoons of oil. Drain off excessive oil and fat.
    3. Mix all spices and sugar together.
    4. In large pot add meat, garlic, onions, stewed tomatoes and spice mix.
    5. Simmer until meat is cooked and blended with tomatoes and spices. The longer the better.Stir often so as not to burn.
    6. Adding beans is optional.
    7. Serve with oyster crackers, garlic bread, a salad and lots of beer. Schmidts of philadelphea preferred. (LOL)
