Baked Salisbury Steak

List of Ingredients
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 lbs. ground beef (the leaner the better)
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup dry seasoned bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup milk
1 can (6oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 pkg. dry brown gravy mix
Recipe
In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup soup, beef, crumbs, onion and eggs. Shape into 8 patties. Arrange in a 3-qt. dish, bake at 425° for 20 minutes. In a bowl, combine remaining soup mix, milk, mushrooms, dry brown gravy mix, and pepper. Spoon over the patties, cover with foil and bake an additional 30-40 minutes, until patties are done.
