    1 tbsp. olive oil
    1 med. onion, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, chopped or minced
    1 (6 1/2 oz.) cans chopped clams, undrained
    1 (6 oz.) can white crab or imitation crab will do
    1 (6 oz.) can shrimp or frozen salad shrimp
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos, undrained
    1 1/2 cups hot water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp parsley
    1/4 tsp file` gumbo
    parmesan cheese (optional)

    Recipe



    Heat oil in a large saucepan. Add onion and garlic, cover and cook for about 15 minutes. Drain and rinse crab and shrimp. Stir clams and liquid, crab, shrimp, tomato soup, pimentos and liquid, water, salt and pepper into onion mixture. Stir in basil, parsley, file` gumbo. Cook covered over low heat for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serves 4.
