1/2 LB SUGAR
1 1/2 OZ BUTTER
PLAIN FLOUR (AS MUCH AS NEEDED)
PINCH - 1/2 TSP SALT
3 EGGS (WELL BEATEN)
1 3/4 TSP CINNAMO
1 TSP CLOVES OR MIXED SPICES
1 TSP CARB SODARecipe
COMBINE SPICES, MELTED HONEY, SUGAR AND BUTTER ALTOGETHER. WHEN COOLED ADD BEATEN EGGS, MIXING WELL. SIFT FLOUR AND SALT AND CARB SODA TOGETHER AND ADD TO MIXTURE. KEEP ADDING ENOUGH FLOUR UNTIL MIXTURE FORMS A SOFT DOUGH. ROLL OUT ABOUT 1/2 INCH THICK AND USE COOKIE CUTTERS (ESPECIALLY THE CHRISTMAS ONES). COOK IN A MODERATE OVEN FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES. WHEN COOLED DECORATE WITH ICING SUGAR PLAIN AND COLOURED AND USE CAKE DECORATIONS TO DECORATE THEM FESTIVALLY. ENJOY..
