    Spinach Cheese Pie (Spanikopita)

    1 box phylo dough



    Mix together in a food processor:



    4 boxes frozen spinach – drained (NO WATER)

    ½ pound feta cheese

    4 eggs

    1 T olive oil

    ¼ cup grated Romano

    1 package cream cheese

    1 small onion, chopped

    Recipe



    Layer 4 sheets phylo on bottom of 13x9 pan. Brush with melted butter. Layer spinach mixture and phylo. Finish with 8 layers of phylo on top. Cut before you bake!! Refrigerate ½ hour before baking. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
