    Peach French Toast

    1 stick butter
    6 eggs
    1 c brown sugar, packed
    1 1/2 c. milk or cream
    2 T. water
    1 t. vanilla
    29 oz. canned peaches or fresh (sliced)
    1 loaf French bread (or Texas toast),crusts
    removed, cubed
    Stir butter and brown sugar over medium heat
    until butter is melted; add water;cook until
    mixture bubbles. Cool. Drain peaches if
    canned.
    Spray 13x9 baking dish with Pam. Pour in syrup
    mixture, lay peach slices in dish; cover with
    bread cubes, completely covering the peaches.
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over bread.
    Push the bread down so it soaks up the mixture.
    Cover; refrigerate overnight.
    Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until slightly
    browned.
