2 cups starter
2 cups flour
3 eggs
2/3 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking soda
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 cups optional ingredients: -- raisins,
-- sliced apples,
-- diced dried apricots
-- chopped carrot
-- chopped zucchini
-- nuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease a 12 cup bundt or tube pan. Mix together all ingredients, except optional choices, with a wooden spoon until smooth. Add 2 cups of optional ingredients to batter. Use any combination of options you desire, but only use 2 cups total. Spoon in prepared pan. Bake one hour. Remove from pan and cool on rack. Serve at room temperature.
