    Praline Pecan Crunch & Munch
    8 cups original Quaker Oats Squares cereal
    2 cups pecan pieces
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 cup white Karo syrup
    1/4 cup margarine

    Combine cereal and pecans in large bowl. Mix syrup, brown sugar and margarine in a pan and bring to a boil. Stir in vanilla and baking soda and then pour over cereal mixture. Stir and coat evenly. Pour onto a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour in a 250-degree oven, stirring every 20 minutes. Spread on another baking sheet to cool and then break into pieces. Store in airtight container.
