Yield: 8 Dozen

1 c Margarine
1 1/2 c Brown sugar; firm pack
4 Eggs
1 ts Ground allspice
1 ts Cloves
1 ts Mace
1 ts Cinnamon
2 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Baking soda; dissolve in
3/4 tb Hot water
4 tb Whiskey
1 lb Seedless raisins
2 lb English walnuts; chop
1 qt Shelled pecans

Heat oven to 350~. In large mixing bowl, cream
margarine and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, and beat
well. Mix allspice, cloves, mace and cinnamon with
flour; sift several times. Add flour to mixture in
bowl. Add dissolved soda, whiskey, raisins, walnuts
and pecans. Mix well. Drop by teaspoon onto a lightly
greased cookie sheet. Bake about 15 minutes until
