Bananas in a Cantaloupe
List of Ingredients
Rub two ripe bananas through a sieve, and to the pulp add the juice of a small lemon and one-half glass of any variety of nice preserves, cut in very small pieces. Chill almost to the freezing point, then fold in a pint of very stiff, very cold, whipped cream. Put in freezer until partially frozen, then serve in halved cantaloupes, which have been chilled for several hours. Garnish with a spoonful of whipped cream and a red cherry.
