Sicily golf Ball Meatballs
List of Ingredients
1 lb. good ground beef
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 slightly beaten egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/8- 1/4 tsp black pepper, to your taste
2 cloves of fresh garlic, crushed
2 tbs grated parmesan cheese
1 tbs parsley preferably fresh
little less if using dried
Recipe
Mix well with hands. If it seems to "wet", you can add a little more bread crumbs. Roll into balls and fry in hot oil on all sides till brown. At this point, we finish cooking them in "gravy." That is what southern Italians call the red stuff!!
