    Cush or Slosh

    Bacon or salt pork
    Corn meal

    • Cook bacon or salt pork in a frying pan to draw out the fat.
    • Extract the meat.
    • Mix fat with water and corn meal into a dough.
    • Fry in the pan or wrap the dough around a ramrod and hold over the fire till it bakes.
