Amish Ice Cream
List of Ingredients
3 Egg yolks
1 cup Half & Half
1/2 cup Sugar
2 cups Whipping Cream
1 tbsp. Vanilla
Beat ingredients together for 3 minutes.
Chill in refrigerator for 24 hours.
Place in ice cream freezer or hand-crank style
and process. Chill again for 48 hours before
using.
(It is important to let the liquid mixture
"mellow" for 24 hours before processing it in
the ice cream maker.)
