    German Chocolate with coconut and pecans

    List of Ingredients




    GERMAN CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM

    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1/4 cup all purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 cups milk
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 quart half and half
    2 (4 oz.) pkgs. German Sweet Chocolate, melted
    1 cup flaked coconut
    1 cup chopped pecans

    In a large heavy saucepan, combine sugar, flour,
    cinnamon and salt. Gradually add milk and eggs;
    stir until smooth. Cook and stir over medium low
    heat until mixture is thick enough to coat a metal
    spoon and reaches 160ºF. About 15 minutes. Stir in
    remaining ingredients.
    Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
    Fill ice cream freezer cylinder two thirds full;
    freeze according to manufacturers instructions.
    Refrigerate remaining mixture until ready to freeze
