    Papaya Ice Cream

    List of Ingredients

    2 papayas
    1 cup whipping cream
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup Grand Marnier
    8 walnut halves

    Peel and halve 1 papaya; discard seeds. Purée
    papaya in a blender. In medium bowl, whip cream
    until stiff, gradually adding sugar. Fold puréed
    papaya into whipped cream. Spoon mixture into
    ice cube tray.
    Place in freezer for 1 hour to freeze lightly.
    Place ice cream in blender. Blend thoroughly to
    prevent ice
    crystals from forming. Peel and halve remaining
    papaya; discard seeds.
    Dice papaya flesh. Stir into ice cream mixture.
    Spoon ice cream into ice cube tray.
    Freeze 2 to 3 hours or until firm. To serve, dip
    base of ice tray in hot water for a few seconds.
    Turn out ice cream.
    Cut into squares and arrange in 4 individual
    glasses. Sprinkle Grand Marnier over top.
    Decorate each portion with 2 walnut halves.
    Makes 4 servings.
