Jalapeno Jelly [prize winning]
List of Ingredients
Jalapeno Jelly
1/4 cup fresh ground bell pepper
3/4 cup fresh ground jalapeno
6 cups sugar
1 1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon butter
1 package (3 ounces) liquid pectin
Cook first 5 ingredients until mixture comes to a full rolling boil. Cook 1 minute more, stirring to prevent boiling over. Remove from heat and add Pectin. Mix well. Let sit for 5 minutes. Pour into hot jars and seal. Makes 6-8 ounce jars. This jelly is delicious on corn bread or poured over cream cheese and served with crackers.Recipe
