    Rosy Glazed Apples


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 oz gelatin in raspberry or strawberry flavors
    • 3/4 cup water
    • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 2 lemon slices, 1/4 inche thick
    • 4 medium baking apples, peeled and cored


    Instructions


    1. Combine gelatin, water, cinnamon and lemon slices in medium skillet. Cook and stir over medium heat until mix boils and gelatin is dissolved.
    2. Add apples, cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until almost tender, turn once and bast occasionally. Remove from heat
    3. Cool apples in syrup. Remove lemon slices. Place apples in individual serving dishes or custard cups. Chill gelatin mix until slightly thickened. Spoon over apples to glaze. Chill until set [about 1 hour]
    4. Serve with whipped topping
