Sparkle Fruit
List of Ingredients
- 1 package [3 oz] gelatin, any flavor
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 bottle [7 oz] ginger ale or lemon lime carbonated beverage, chilled
- Diced or sliced drained canned or fresh fruit
Instructions
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add ginger ale [etc] and chill until thickened. Add fruit and pour into serving bowl or individual dessert dishes.
- Chill until set about 1 hour. Garnish with some whipped cream and fruit if desired.
- makes about 2 1/2 cups or five servings
- suggestions:
- Raspberry gelatin with sliced peaches
- lime gelatin with pear halves, sliced
- Cherry gelatin with bananas sliced
- Orange with crushed pineapple [juice]
- Lemon with madarin oranges
