    Bubble and Squeak
    Ingredients:

    1 head of cabbage
    Worcestershire sauce
    2 oz. butter
    1/2 cup dried or chopped onions
    1 garlic clove
    1 lb. chopped beef or lamb (can be pre-cooked leftovers)
    salt & pepper
    4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
    1/2 lb. bacon

    Instructions:
    Boil cabbage in salted water until soft (about 1/2 to 3/4 hour). Chop
    coarsely, and salt lightly. Season with Worcestershire sauce. Heat the
    butter, and saute onions and garlic. Add chopped meat and saute for 10 min.;
    season with salt & pepper. Butter a casserole, and layer the bottom with
    cabbage. Top it with some of the meat mixture, top wit with some of the
    breadcrumbs; add another layer of cabbage, then meat and breadcrumbs.
    Continue process, ending with a layer of cabbage. Top with whole bacon
    slices and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min.
    Serve it like a cake.
