    Cavatini

    Saute together:
    1/4 c. butter
    1 medium size onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 large (8 oz.) jar mushrooms
    Set aside.
    Brown 2 lbs. hamburger and drain.
    Add to hamburger:
    15 1/2 oz. can tomato sauce
    32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
    4 oz. ham, cubed
    6 oz. package chicken or turkey slices
    1 (3 oz.) package pepperoni
    1/4 t. garlic salt
    1/4 t. red pepper
    1 t. oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
    Add sauteed mixture.
    Cook according to package directions:
    6 oz. shell macaroni
    6 oz. curly macaroni, drain

    Put layer of macaroni, layer of 8 oz. mozzarella cheese, layer of
    hamburger mixture, layer of Parmesan cheese, another 8 oz. layer of
    mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Makes 2 9x13 inch pans. Cover and
    freeze. Bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until hot and bubbly. You will
    need a total of 32 oz. of mozzarella cheese. You can either use the
    Parmesan cheese in a can or the fresh. There isn't a specified amount
    of Parmesan cheese. I just sprinkle on a thin layer where it calls
    for it.
