Steak a la Kirk
List of Ingredients
4 tablespoons butter
4 teaspoons paprika -- sweet Hungarian
2 Tablespoons Dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon fresh grated pepper
4 pounds beef fillet steaks
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Recipe
In a small bowl mix butter and dry spices. Add sause and mix well. This should be a thick paste. Cut meat into 8 servings. [1/2 lb an inch thick] Sprad one side of the steak with sauce. Heat oil in frying pan and put steak in sauce side down . Now spread top of steak with remaining sauce. Cook for 5 minutes to just brown steaks [ or adjust accordingly for different degrees of doneness]
