    Dutch Cabbage


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 head cabbage
    • 1 tbs butter
    • 3 tbs vinegar
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1 tsp brown sugar
    • 1/2 tsp salt


    Instructions


    1. Shred the cabbage, put in fat with 1/2 cup water, the butter, flour, sugar and salt. Stew for 20 minutes covered.
    2. Add the vinegar, and stir in one egg yolk beaten. cover and let stand 1 hour before serving.
