Dutch Cabbage
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 head cabbage
- 1 tbs butter
- 3 tbs vinegar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Shred the cabbage, put in fat with 1/2 cup water, the butter, flour, sugar and salt. Stew for 20 minutes covered.
- Add the vinegar, and stir in one egg yolk beaten. cover and let stand 1 hour before serving.
