Grandma Stuzman's Stewed Tomato for one
List of Ingredients
Take a ripe tomato, remove green top core, slice tomato in half. Put cut sides down in a skillet with about 2 tablespoons melted butter. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Simmer, slowly, under low heat until butter browns. Turn over each tomoto half - sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon sugar on each top, carefully - try not to get sugar on pan. Again cook slowly till bottoms are brown. Place in dessert dish, cut up into pieces. Serves one.
