LAZY WIFE CAKE


1-1/2 cups pastry flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 cup white sugar
7 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 cup cold water

Sift the dry ingredients into a 9 x 9 ungreased cake pan. Mix with fork. Make three holes in dry ingredients. Into one pour the vanilla, the next the oil, and into the third the vinegar. Pour over all this 1 cup cold water. Mix with a fork. Do not beat. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
