    List of Ingredients


    • 2 qts tender English Peas in Pod
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
    • 2 tsp salt
    • 1 tbs butter


    Instructions


    1. Wash and remove the stems of the youngest and tenderest English peas you can get. But keep the peas in their pods. Cook for an hour in boiling water to which the salt has been added. Then add the butter and the pepper.
