Snap Beans with Bacon
List of Ingredients
1 qt beans [snap]
4 slices of bacon
1 1/2 c boiling water
1 t salt
Wash the beans, cut off the stems and snap the beans into one-inch lengths. Cut bacon into pieces and fry in saucepan till the bits are crisp. Remove the bacon bits, add boiling water to the fa, put in the beans and cook until they are just tender. Pour off the water and serve the beans with the bacon
