Sweet & Sour Wax Beans
List of Ingredients
(Mustard Beans)
2 quarts wax beans*
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
2 T. prepared mustard
1 1/2 tsp. flour
Preparation -
Cook beans in salt water just until tender - do not overcook. Set aside. Combine other ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook about a minute. Pour over the cooked beans. Cool, then refrigerate. Serve cold.
