    List of Ingredients


    • 3 qts celery
    • 3 qts watermelon rind
    • 3 qts carrots
    • 3 qts string beans
    • 3 qts peppers
    • 3 qts pickles
    • 1 qt kidney beans
    • 1 qt soup beans
    • 1 qt lima beans
    • 1 qt onions
    • 1 tsp celery seed
    • 1 tsp turmeric
    • SYRUP
    • 1 pt vinegar
    • 1 qt sugar
    • 1 pt water


    Instructions


    1. Veggies:
      Scald the peppers 2 times with boiling water before putting syrup on. cook everything for 20 minutes. Drain [each separately] except pepper, onions and pickles. Just pour boiling syrup on
    2. Syrup: Make as much as you need to cover veggies. Jar and seal cold pack for 10-15 minutes
