    Turkey Filling

    List of Ingredients




    About 8 cups of stale bread cubes (white were used)
    1 stick butter
    1 cup chopped celery
    3/4 cup chopped onion
    1 cup diced boiled potatoes (white)
    2 tsp. sage, rubbed
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    1/4 tsp. summer savory
    dash of rosemary
    salt and pepper to taste

    On morning of roasting turkey:
    Melt butter in skillet, add onions and celery, cook
    over medium heat until celery is transparent. Combine
    bread cubes, potatoes, and seasonings in bowl. Add
    butter mixture. This should be a crumbly mixture that
    doesn't hold together. Stuff turkey, refrigerate until
    cooking time.
