Holy Roman Pasta
List of Ingredients
6-8 Roma tomatoes, any tomato that's ripe will do.
cut the end, squeeze the juice out and save
for a salad dressing or a bloody Mary.
basil, chopped, a lot is never enough.
Garlic, the Zyliss garlic press is your best friend in the kitchen.
Red onion, dice this in neat little 1/4 inch cubes
Fennel, not the seeds, the root thing, chop this up like the onion
Drizzel with some olive oil, think of world peace as you extend the bottle
over the bowl.
Salt and pepper. Salt always reminds me of the people in a Thomas Hart
Benton painting. Work hard, eat good.
While your doing the above, cook the pasta in salted water. When it's done
just toss the pasta and the sauce together and serve with some grated Romano
