    Key Lime Margarita White Chocolate Mouss

    List of Ingredients

    Key Lime Margarita White Chocolate Mousse Pie

    Crust:
    2 cups Heath English Toffee chunks
    2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    1/2 cup melted butter
    Filling:
    2 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatin
    3/4 cup whole milk, cold
    3/4 cup whole milk, heated to scalding
    16 ounces egg yolks
    11/2 cups granulated sugar
    1 cup key lime juice
    2 teaspoons key lime zest
    4 tablespoons tequila
    1 drop green food coloring
    Topping:
    1 package (75/16 oz.) Knorr White Chocolate Mousse Dessert Mix (available at Costco)
    14 ounces half and half
    1 cup white chocolate, coarsely chopped





    Recipe

    1. For crust: Combine ingredients in bowl. Place bowl over another bowl of ice cold water. As mixture solidifies, mold into shape around a 10-inch springform pan to form a crust.

    2. For filling: In blender, sprinkle gelatin over cold milk. Let stand 2 minutes. Add scalding milk and process at low speed until gelatin is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Add egg yolks, sugar, lime juice, tequila, lime zest and food coloring. Process at high speed until well blended, about 1 minute. Pour into springform pan and refrigerate at least one hour.

    3. For topping: Follow directions on Knorr package, whipping until peaks are formed. Pile high onto top of key lime filling. Garnish with sugared lime sections.

    Yield: 14 to 16 slices

    Served at dinner reeacting the last dinner of Titanic.
    Not on menu.
