    Mrs. Tanner's Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie

    Mrs. Tanner's Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie

    Topping:
    1 cup fresh blueberries
    2/3 cup water

    Cook blueberries and water for 5 minutes. Then mix 1 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 1/3 cup water. Stir this mixture into the berries and boil for 2 minutes or until thick. Let cool completely.

    Pie Filling:
    1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
    1 8 ounce carton Cool Whip
    1 cup fresh blueberries
    1 9-inch baked pie shell, completely cooled

    With electric mixer, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy. Add Cool Whip and beat on low until smooth. Fold in blueberries by hand. Put this filling in baked pie shell. Cover with blueberry sauce. Let cool in refrigerator 2-3 hours. Will keep several days.
