    Homemade Pizza (argentinian style)

    List of Ingredients

    Homemade Pizza (argentinian style)

    1 cup milk (lukewarm)

    1 cup water (lukewarm)

    1 package yeast

    2 tablespoons of sugar

3 cups flour (all purpose flour)

    1 tablespoon oil

    salt

    tomato sauce

    garlic (minced)

    mozzarella cheese and ham

    preperation:

add the yeast in the milk with the sugar and let it rise in place where it's
warm. add salt in the lukewarmed water.

put the flour in a large bowl, with the tblspn. of oil and add the water, once
the yeast mixture has rised add that to the mixture and mix with a spoon untill
you noticed that all the ingredients are combined. once that happens, it's time
for your hands to do the rest of the work, if you feel that the dough is sticky
and hard add more salty water (warm) and not too much of flour.

then, you let the dough rest for half an hour or so in a warm place. when it has
become it's double size seperate in two (if you like it thin) or keep it as it
is (if you like it thick).

on a greased pizza pan, start spreading the dough (it's very important to have a
little bit of oil on your hands) and turn it around. place it in the oven at
375º, while that starts to cook, do the sauce.

put the tomato sauce in a bowl, add the minced garlic, with some garlic powder,
    salt and the oregano.

after 20 minutes or so, check on the pizza, if it's golden turn it around and
put the sauce on it, with the slices of ham and the mozzarella, if you like
olives (blck. or green) they can go on top also. leave it in the oven for
another 15-20 mintues and there you have an argentinian pizza.

hope you enjoy a taste of argentina, Lisa.
