Country Style Pork Roast Jobe's Cafe

    List of Ingredients

    Country Style Pork Roast

1 (5- to 10-lb.) pork roast, with bone in
    Salt, to taste
    Black pepper, to taste
    Garlic powder, to taste
    5 cups water
5 (103/4-oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 cup Kitchen Bouquet

    1. Cut roast in half. Hand rub all sides of the two pieces of meat
with salt, pepper and garlic powder. To brown the meat, place in
baking pan and bake at 425 to 450 degrees for 1 hour. Remove, turn
meat over, and bake 1 more hour.

    3. In a bowl, mix 5 cups of water with the 5 cans of mushroom soup,
pour liquid over meat. Return to oven and bake uncovered at 350
degrees for 4 more hours. When bone comes out easily, the meat is
    done.

    5. Stir 1/4 cup Kitchen Bouquet into gravy. Pull meat apart, add to
    gravy, stir and serve.

The pieces of pork and gravy can be served over rice or with mashed potatoes.
