    Sunday Pork Chop Dinner

    List of Ingredients

    [Genie]

    6 pork chops
    Vegetable oil for frying
    Salt and pepper, to taste
4 cups potatoes, peeled and sliced
    2 cups carrots, sliced
    2 cups onions, sliced
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp dried marjoram
    1/4 tsp ground black pepper
    1 can Golden Mushroom soup
    1 soup can water

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Season pork chops to taste with salt and pepper and brown on both sides in the hot oil.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, carrots, onion, salt, marjoram and pepper. Mix lightly and place mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix soup with water and pour over potato mixture. Place browned pork chops on top.

Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours until pork chops and vegetables are very tender.

I don't know how long you are gone from home attending services, but I'm usually gone about 2 1/2 hours, so I preheat my oven to about
275-300 degrees and it has always worked out fine.

I have also made this on Saturday night, covered with foil and refrigerated it overnight. Then take it out of the oven when you first get up to warm up some and put it in the preheated oven just before you leave the house.
