    MUST make ahead Chicken Salad

    List of Ingredients




    It must be made ahead or it is NASTY!

    Serving Size : 5

    2 cups Chicken breast -- cooked and cubed
    1 cup celery -- chopped
    1 cup frozen peas -- thawed

    DRESSING
    1 cup mayonnaise -- not Miracle whip
    1 Tablespoon soy sauce
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    salt and pepper -- to taste
    garlic powder -- to taste

    STIR IN
    1 cup chow mein noodles
    1/2 cup slivered almonds

    Mix together chicken, peas and celery. Mix dressing ingredients together
    and pour over chicken; Stir well. VERY IMPORTANT - do not eat for 24 hours!
    Just before serving stir in chow mein noodles and slivered almonds.

    NOTES : I don't know why but the dressing tastes awful until it has been
    mixed for a day.
