STEWED POTATOES
4 large potatoes peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes.
salt to taste, if desired
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. heavy cream
freshly ground pepper to taste
Put potatoes in saucepan. Add water to cover and salt
to taste. Bring to a boil and cook until tender. Drain
potatoes. Add milk and cream. Bring to a boil. Let simmer
5 minutes. Yield: 4servings.
