    Americanized Chinese Wings

    List of Ingredients

Place chicken wing pieces in a plastic bag in a deep bowl. Pour some soy sauce over chicken and mix to coat all chicken pieces. Make sure to use enough soy sauce so all pieces are well coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour (I usually do about 4 hours). In another large plastic bag, mix flour, a little ginger powder (1/4-1/2 tsp of ginger for each cup of flour is about right), salt, pepper, and onion powder to taste. Shake chicken pieces in flour mixture until well coated. Fry in hot oil. (If you like a little zing to your wings, add some hot sauce with the soy sauce, or add red pepper flakes to the flour mixture).
