    Chicken Wings Bossa Nova

    List of Ingredients




    1 package (10 count) chicken wings
    1 (16 oz.) jar Rosarita Mild and chunck Picante Sauce
    1/2 cup olive oil
    1/4 cup lime juice
    1/2 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon salt (optional)

    cut each chicken wing at joints to make 3 pieces; reserve tips for another use. Place wings in single layer in 13x9x2 inch baking dish; set aside. In blender, combine remaining ingredients; cover and process on low until smooth. Pour salsa mixture over wings. Cover and refrigerate 6-8 hours or overnight to marinate. place marinated wings in a single layer on foil lined 15x10 inch baking sheet; reserve remaining marinade. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes; drain drippings. Brush with reserved marinade and bake additional 30 minutes.

    Makes 20 wings

    Tip: use reserved wing ends for chicken stock
