    Culinary Academy Mustard Wings

    12 chicken drumettes
    freshly ground pepper -- to taste
    1 tablespoon honey
    cayenne pepper -- to taste
    1 clove garlic -- finely minced
    2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
    whole wheat bread crumbs -- very finely ground


    Recipe




    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a baking sheet. Remove as much skin as possible from drumettes. Sprinkle chicken with pepper.

    2. Combine honey, cayenne, garlic, and mustard. Brush mixture onto chicken, coating all sides lightly and evenly, then dip in bread crumbs.

    3. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake until light brown (about 30 minutes). Serve hot.

    Makes 12 drumettes.

    NOTES : These wings are brushed with a sweet and spicy mixture of cayenne pepper, mustard, garlic, and honey, then they're baked to a crunchy turn.
