    Gregg's Wings

    List of Ingredients

    From: Gregg Matthew S

Hi, this is partially from a recipe I got, and partially my own creation...
Although I list measurements, for the most part, just taste it every so often... I
also like my wings drowned in sauce as compared to a lot of people who don't... I
use this amoun t (or more) much for about 10 wingettes (5 whole wings)(the recipe
recommends it for 30 wingettes)... I also like my stuff very hot, so usually add a
    little more Red Hot Sauce..

    Ingredients:

1/2 Stick Margarine (Butter not recommended)
6 Tablespoons Durkees Red Hot Sauce
1 to 2 teaspoons Tabasco Sauce
Habanero Sauce or Fresh Very Finely Chopped Habaneros (optional & Very Hot but I like
it) I won't recommend an amount here, but if you like hot, try it...
    1/4 teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper
    1/8 teaspoon Celery Seed
Finely Grated Fresh Ginger (or powdered to taste... I don't know how much I usually
put in, but its a very small amount.. its not in the original recipe)
    1 Tablespoon White Vinegar
Dash or two of Salt & Pepper
    1/4 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

    Recipe

Cut up your wings into sections and discard the tips (never leave the tips on)....
If you like it hot and spicy then put some extra cayenne pepper, black pepper, and
garlic before frying.... Fry the wings for 375 degrees in peanut or vegetable oil
until n ice and brown (aprox 12-15 minutes)... Let them lay out on a paper towel
    and dry them off...

While you are doing this, combine all the ingredients to make your sauce... and
simmer over a low heat until it is hot and well blended... Add or take away
    ingredients to taste.....

If you like them drenched like I do, just put the wings in a bowl and cover them
with sauce... Some people like them baked.....

You can serve it with celery and blue cheese dressing (this is good if you make it
    too hot too)...

And as the recipe recommends, a nice cold beer (I think a nice thick beer goes
    good with this)....
