Horse Wings
List of Ingredients
Before you fans of the mythological beast Pegasus get upset, this recipe is named for one of the ingredients, not the source of the wings.
Ingredients:
12 wings
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup plus 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup onion, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons horseradish
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Makin' It:
Toss the wings in the flour until lightly covered all over. Heat 4 tablespoons vegetable oil over medium-high heat in a pan and brown the wings on both sides. Place in a baking dish in the oven at 350 for 15 minutes or until the juices run clear when the meat is pierced. Prepare the vinegarette by combining onion slices, horseradish, vinegar, salt, pepper and remaining oil. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce and allow to cool to room temperature before serving.
