Honey-Lime Marinated Chicken Wings
List of Ingredients
10 Tyson fresh chicken wings
1/4 cup chopped green onions
3 tblsp soy sauce
3 tblsp lime juice
3 tblsp honey
2 tsp dark sesame oil
1 1/2 tsp grated lime peel
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3/4 tsp ground ginger
Recipe
Cut off wing tips and discard, saving for other uses. Cut remaining wings apart at joints to make 2 pieces each. In blender container, combine all ingredients except chicken. Process until smooth. (If desired, finely chop onions and garlic and combine with all ingredients except chicken in a bowl and mix wel). In a large plastic food storage bag, combine marinade and chicken pieces. Seal tightly. Refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray a shallow baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or line with aluminum foil. Place chicken in baking dish. Brush generously with marinade. Discard remaining marinade. Bake at 425 for 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken is a deep golden brown and internal juices run clear. (Or insert instant-read meat thermometer in thickest part of chicken. Temperature should read 170 degrees)
Serve chicken either hot or at room temperature. Refrigherate any leftovers immediately.
