Snowmobiler's Sled Stopping Chicken Wings
From: Cydne S
Well, being from Upstate New York, truly, upstate, like where the Ice Storm of 1998 hit
and left us all stranded for over 2 weeks with no power, this is the recipes of all
recipes. Guaranteed to keep you warm when its cold outside, and the heat isn't working,
or after a long day of riding the Polaris!!!!!! (Not Artic Cat, cat's can't swim!!!) Just
a joke to you fellow riders.
My wing recipe just happened to come up by experimentation!!!!! A little of this, a
little of that, and a lot of good friends, good times, and great wings!!!!!!
Simple but Snappy -
- 1 Large Bottle of "Franks Original Red Hot Cayenne Pepper Sauce"
(less/more depending on your "buds!")
- 1/4 cup White Vinegar
- 1 stick of Margarine
Recipe
Put all ingredients in a saucepan, and simmer on medium low.
If frying wings: have sauce ready before all wings are done; after taking them out of
frypan, let excess oil drip off, place in bowl and mix in with sauce. You can also place
the wings, after frying and coating, in a shallow baking pan and cover with a little more
sauce then sprinkle brown sugar over wings. Bake for 10 minutes and then prepare to enjoy
and warm up!!!!!!
If you don't prefer to fry, or don't have enough time, then bake them from the beginning.
Simmer the sauce in a saucepan. Cut tips, rinse in cold water, place on a couple of paper towels and pat dry, sprinkle with pepper, or cayenne pepper for super hot. Place in a single layer close together, pour the sauce over the entire pan of wings, and sprinkle with brown sugar to give a little sweetness and an extra zap!!!! Bake at 450 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes, can be longer if you like them a little crispy. Then dig in!!!!!!
Don't forget, this is to warm you up. Insured to make a great day of riding the sleds,
even better!!! Don't forget the friends!!!!!!
Ride on, ride hard, and ride safe!!!!!
