    Recipe Introduction

This sweet meatloaf, without all the yucky things kids hate, is sure to please you little ones (and some of the big ones too).

    List of Ingredients

    • 2 pounds hamburger (or ground deer meat)
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup bread crumbs (craker crumbs or ritz cracker crumbs)
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons of Dale's Sauce (or mix worcestershire & soy)
    • Salt & Pepper to taste.
    • 1 egg
    • (1) 8 ounce can of tomato sauce
    • Catsup for topping

    Instructions

    1. Mix all ingredients (except catsup) in large bowl.
    2. If mixture seems too soupy, add more bread crumbs or cracker crumbs.
    3. Line baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
    4. Dump contents of bowl into baking pan.
    5. Shape into 1 inch thick loaf.
    6. Top with catsup, spread with spoon to cover top.
    7. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

    Final Comments

Thomas is a pro with this recipe but of course he had the help of all of us perfecting it through the years.
Mama-Joyce always used sliced sandwich bread in her's instead of bread crumbs. She dampened it with water and mixed it up with well with the other ingredients.
