Brownies

Recipe Introduction
It is absolutely as close to high phe brownies as you can get! They have
that shiny brownie look that high brownies have. Awesome!
List of Ingredients
- ¼ c butter (24 phe)
- 90 grams Chocolate flavored Almond Bark (129 phe—for Fisher’s Chef’s
- ¼ c packed brown sugar (0 phe)
- 1 package of chocolate instant pudding (56 phe)
- 3 tablespoons of Hershey’s unsweetened cocoa (195 phe)
- 5 tablespoons WATER (0 phe)
- 1 tsp baking powder (0 phe)
- 1/4 tsp salt (0 phe)
- 1 cup Wel Plan (or Loprofin) (Loprofin is 9 phe)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine brown sugar ,
pudding mix and cocoa.
- Gradually add water, mixing well.
- Melt almond bark and butter in microwave (90 seconds to start, stir and then
20 seconds more if needed).
- Add melted chocolate/butter into the
sugar/pudding/cocoa and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, stir together Baking Mix, baking powder and salt; add to
creamed mixture, mixing until thoroughly combined.
- Spread batter into a greased 8- or 9- inch square baking pan, smoothing top
with the backside of a spoon.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack, then
cut into bars.
Final Comments
Total phe is 413. (Phe is calculated based on the ingredients I am using…if
you use other brands you will have to recalculate)
