    Bacon Cheese Pastry

    Recipe Introduction

    These can be frozen after they are cooked. Place the frozen crisps on a baking sheet and reheat them 5 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

    List of Ingredients

    1 sleeve Waveryly Wafer Crackers, or similar buttery rectangular crackers
    1/2 c freshly grated parmasan cheese, not canned
    1 lb sliced bacon, cut in half

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees
    Place 1 tsp of the cheese on a cracker and wrap tightly with 1/2 slice bacon.
    Place the wrapped crackers on broiler rack on a baking sheet and put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 2 hours or until the bacon is done. Do not turn. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot or room temperature.

    Bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours, until bacon is crisp.

    NOTE: If you are impatient, bake these at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes, with good results.
